We don’t typically do photography for clients, but this particular “client” wasn’t going to take no for an answer. After a bit of text message pleading, Dave gave in. It helps when your sister is married to the photographer. 🙂
On a Friday night, right after sunset, we headed to the Continental Bridge to snap some photos of my little “big” brother, Benjamin, headed off to his senior prom. It is crazy to think he’s legal, driving, and headed to someone’s college soon! Sigh. Just another reminder that time slows for no (wo)man.
I helped him pick out his suit online, but I had no clue what it would look like on his now 6’2 slender frame. He opted for a navy blue skinny fit tuxedo pant and matching jacket. He wore a bowtie from Anchor Wood Shop with the Dallas Skyline etched into the wood. His lovely date, Jackie, wore a swoon-worthy mermaid gown with delicate beading and embellishments. In all honesty, these kids looked like a walking magazine ad!
Ahh to be 18 again! We are so glad we had a chance to capture these moments!
